MITCNC Event
Board Director Series
Feb 20 - Peninsula

We are pleased to announce the third event in our ongoing series of in-depth conversations with board directors, as we look to the future of corporate boards and to board directors who are contributing to a Better World.

The Board Spotlight Series offers MIT alumni who aspire to serve on corporate Boards an exclusive peek into the career journeys of accomplished board members. How do they contribute to their boards? What are their thoughts on the more inclusive governance teams we expect in the future? How can mid career MIT alumni get on the path to adding their expertise to boards?

In the MIT spirit of "Mens et Manus", our speakers inspire with their ideas and the helping hands they extend to MIT alumni. This session we are pleased to feature Robin Abrams, who serves on corporate boards for Sierra Wireless, Openwave Systems, and has served on boards of ZiLOG and BEA Systems.  Robin's experience includes serving as interim CEO of ZiLOG, as President of Palm Computing and SVP at 3Com.

Robin will be in a fireside chat conversation with moderator Tania Binder from executive & board search firm Spencer Stuart.
