To the MIT community, and to the math-obsessed throughout the world, March 14th is Pi Day, a celebration of the world's most famous mathematical constant. In recent years, Pi Day has evolved into the Institute's unofficial holiday.
Pi Day Photo Contest - celebrating all things pi(e)! ?
This Pi Day - March 14 (3/14 or 3.14 for those so inclined) to recognize the illustrious irrational number, you're invited to our first ever Virtual Pi(e) Contest. Whether it’s a home-cooked pie ?, pizza pie ?or just a photo of MIT alums hanging out.
Normally this annual celebration involves making pies, eating pies, or throwing pies, but we will do it slightly differently - digitally.
Win prizes - $314 Amazon Gift card, an autographed book, pi(e) cutter, and submission discounts.
