Max Kolysh ‘13 is the founder and CEO of Dover, the modern recruiting department for the world's top companies. In this talk, Max will give an overview of the state of recruiting in 2020. If you're starting a startup or working at a startup, you've probably dealt with the challenges of finding and closing candidates. In this talk, Max will provide a practical overview of recruiting in 2020 relevant to startups of all sizes:
  • How has COVID affected the recruiting landscape, and what does the recruiting market look like today?
  • How to navigate recruiting options including, Tools, Recruiters, and Marketplaces. What should you go with, why, and how does that differ depending on your stage & size?
  • Recruiting best practices: What does & doesn't work, tips for finding and closing candidates, and addressing misconceptions about recruiting.
