MITCNC Event
Summer 2018 Startup Connector
Jul 25

The Startup Connectors brings together private companies and alums at a high-energy networking fair. Broaden your professional network, meet your future employer, employees, and/or business partners while keeping your fingers on the pulse of the local startup market. The event provides an evening of casual conversations, technical and business discussions while enjoying delicious snacks and beverages and learning from a panel of startup experts.

Benefits to Attendees:

  • Job seekers can survey a wide variety of local startup job opportunities
  • Potential investors, advisors, and service providers get a unique window into the technologies and business plans being considered (and funded)

“I was having a tough time at my previous job. I was stressed, overworked, underpaid. I met a company at MITCNC Startup Connector. In 2 months, I was in new job. I've been there almost 6 months now and am so happy.”
“Next time MITCNC invites you to a Startup Connector, go with an open mind. I found my dream job there”

Benefits to Companies:

  • Access to talented alums to fill open positions
  • Benefit of fresh thinking on business plans, product plans and technology horizons

“We’ve participated in two Startup Connector Job Fairs, and feel that this event is a great investment for our team.” –Metromile

“Startup Connector is a great event. We not only meet highly qualified candidates but the event is a great way to reconnect with old classmates and make new alumni connections.” - Director of Product, Tigertext

We anticipate to sellout our 300 person attendee limit. Dozens of companies ranging from early stage startups to larger pre-IPO are expected to attend and exhibit seeking new team members to help them grow. Last season’s event demonstrated overwhelming success for hiring and business opportunities.
