Optimizing Real World Data For Therapeutic Development: The Role of AI
Sep 25 - Virtual Event

The Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare will host virtually its second webinar, "AI to Improve the Utility of Real World Data for Clinical Development," on Friday, September 25, 2020 beginning at 10:30 a.m. EDT. With therapeutic developers and regulators embracing the potential of RWE to accelerate and improve drug discovery and clinical timelines, AI and machine learning are playing a critical role in enabling these activities. This panel will consider key contributions the AI community is making to realize the potential of RWE and will highlight these activities though examination of two use cases: in Drug Discovery and in Clinical Applications.

The first use case will look at how AI tools are being applied to take next-gen sequencing data and longitudinal clinical data to identify key biomarkers of therapeutic response and drug resistance to refine a therapeutic development strategy.

The second use case will examine how access to EHRs and information about standard of care can be used to design more robust and predictive studies using available imaging and other diagnostic tools. The panel will explore how development of external or synthetic control arms is being used to reduce trial size, length of trials, and overall cost.

The agenda will continue to evolve in the coming weeks. Registration is free, but limited to the first 1,000 attendees. Secure your spot today!
