MIT Women Discuss Trends in Aviation
Sep 09 - Virtual Event

Event Postponed

Aviation is rapidly evolving, both in crewed and in un-crewed aircraft. We will talk with 3 MIT alums who are simultaneously pilots from a variety of backgrounds, including general aviation, commercial and defense, and are active in developing aviation technologies.

Key technology trends include autonomous systems, aircraft design, propulsion, and lift management. We will highlight significant engineering developments, intersections with other sectors, and evolving use cases that are becoming possible with new technologies, and we will address some of the regulatory challenges facing aviation companies and pilots.
