MIT Event
MIT Research Slam
Nov 21 - San Francisco

Back by popular demand, the MIT Research Slam returns to the Bay Area this fall. Join fellow alumni for a fast-paced pitch night at Jimmy V's on the Stanford University campus.

Competitors can test their skills in communicating their work to others, pitching their research to a lay audience and a panel of judges in four minutes or less, for $1,750 in cash prizes.

Attendees can join the fun too, interacting with and learning from both aspiring and established researchers working on some of the world's grand challenges.

Register now to:
• Learn about new areas of research
• Network and chat about potential collaborations with fellow alumni
• Polish your communication skills
• Enjoy complimentary pizza, beer and wine

All attendees must be 21+ and show a valid, government-issued ID to attend.

Interested in pitching? Email a short summary of your current research to alumnilearn@mit.edu by November 14. To be eligible, competitors must be MIT alumni who are current graduate students, postdocs, or junior faculty members at a college or university in the area.

Cash Prizes:
1st: $1,000
2nd: $500
3rd: $250
