Ride along the American River to Folsom Lake (9th largest CA reservoir) and back. We will be riding the American River National Bike Trail and Johnny Cash Bike Trails. Except for Folsom, we will be riding mostly bike paths and following the meandering American River. The ride is designed to be a loop and to end by the parking lot that we started at. Please bring lunch and snacks. There is an optional lunch break by the boat ramp where we can relax and dunk your feet in the river.

- Water (at least 2 liters per person and some snack)
- Snack and lunch for the ride
- Sunblock
- Helmet
- $6 parking fee into the park
- Great smile and fantastic attitude
Just a gentle reminder, please remember to eat before engaging in strenuous exercise. Please have breakfast before this ride.
Upper Sunrise Boat Ramp Parking (there are actually 2 parking lots - one by the boat ramp (and pedestrian bridge) and another one just south of it). You may park in either one (we will be congregating by the boat ramp (GPS coordinates: 38.6364805268049, -121.26380562698318).
