MITCNC Event
Financial Planning Series: Navigating the Bay Area Real Estate Market
Jan 24 - San Francisco

Preparing to buy your first home can be daunting, especially in a competitive marketplace like San Francisco. Our panel of experts will walk you through what you need to know to approach the homebuying process with confidence.

Paul Zeger, Partner at Polaris Pacific, will share his views on real estate market conditions. With over 30 years of experience in real estate development, he can help translate current trends into meaningful insights for first-time homebuyers.

Roberto Rivera, Senior Managing Director at First Republic Bank, will outline important factors to consider when preparing to buy your first home. Having spent over a decade helping First Republic clients finance their home purchases, he can provide answers to questions that you might have about the mortgage process.

At Compass Real Estate, MIT alumnus Ryan Richard currently works with buyers and sellers across the city. He will share his firsthand experiences in San Francisco real estate and discuss what you should keep in mind while exploring the local housing market.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Mary Robinson of HouseCanary, provider of U.S. residential real estate market data, forecasts and analytics.

Refreshments will be provided.
