First Generation Alumni of MIT - Incoming Students Welcome
Aug 23 - Virtual Event

First Generation Alumni of MIT is hosting an Incoming Students Welcome for first generation college students in the Northern California region. Come and meet your fellow students and mingle with current students and alumni!

We invite members of the MIT community who self-identify as FLI (First Generation/Low Income), generally defined as those who are first in their family to graduate from a U.S. four-year college and/or have little to no expected parent and student contribution as part of their financial aid package.

Click on the Reserve Now button to register for the event. An email with the Zoom link will be included in your confirmation email from Eventbrite.

About the MIT First Generation Alumni Group (FGAMIT):

First Generation Alumni of MIT is a community of MIT graduates who are among the first in their families to graduate from a 4-year college.  Our purpose is to develop and sponsor activities to promote personal, professional growth and wellbeing of our members, and provide a forum to share individual experiences and celebrate the diversity within our community.  We actively support MIT’s efforts to attract and retain First Generation students, as well as support those students in realizing their potential throughout their academic and professional careers.

MIT Alums:

Please make sure you are a current member of your local club before registering. If you are unsure please ask your club representative or if you would like to join MIT Club of Northern California, click here.
