Financial Planning Series: Planning Today For Tomorrow
Feb 06 - San Francisco

You may think an estate plan is only something that a select few have to prepare. Estate plans are, in fact, essential for a wide variety of people – from entrepreneurs who are watching their company grow to children preparing to inherit. Your legacy is valuable. Do you have a plan in place to protect it?

Miranda Holmes, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CRPC®, has 17 years of experience in helping individuals and their families answer that question. As a Managing Director and Senior Financial Planner at First Republic Investment Management, she will outline key considerations for financial, estate and charitable giving plans. She will also provide advice and best practices on wealth transfer strategies, with an emphasis on tactics commonly used by Bay Area entrepreneurs.

As the chair of the Family Wealth Group at Farella Braun + Martel LLP, Lara Gilman also has a wealth of experience in estate and succession planning. She was recognized in the 2019 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® as one of the best trust and estates attorneys in the country. She will help to answer common questions about estate and gift tax planning, as well as the administration of trusts and estates.

Light refreshments will be provided.
