Come (virtually) network with other alumni and meet local alumnus Andrew Rader (PhD '09). Andrew will speak about his book, Beyond the Known: How Exploration Created the Modern World and Will Take Us to the Stars, and his experiences. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

In addition to being an author and Mission Manager for SpaceX, Andrew is also an aerospace engineer, game designer, podcast host, and television personality. He hosts the weekly podcast,Spellbound, and has been featured in The New York Times, Slate, Vice, The Verge, Gizmodo, andSpace.com.
