Anirvan Ghosh is the CEO of UNITY Biotechnology, a clinical stage company focused on developing medicines to slow age-associated diseases. Prior, Anirvan served as Senior VP at Biogen Research and Early Development where he expanded the portfolio through key partnerships, including acquisition of early stage assets in Neurology and Ophthalmology. He was also the founding Chief Scientific Officer at E-Scape Bio, a biotech company developing therapeutics for neurodegenerative disorders, and the VP/Global Head of Neuroscience Discovery and Biomarkers at Roche. He has held academic appointments at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and UC San Diego.

Anirvan received his BS in Physics from Caltech, his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Stanford University and did his postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School.
