The MIT Human Factor Conference is a one-day event hosted by the MIT Club of Northern California in partnership with MIT’s School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS). It will take place at the stunning SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco and feature stellar SHASS faculty, including the Dean of the SHASS school, and provide an opportunity to mix and mingle with hundreds of fellow MIT Alumni. It will be an unforgettable event featuring talks, performances, and socializing. A cocktail hour will follow the event. Hope to see you there!

    • Deborah Blum, Pulitzer Prize Winner; columnist for The New York Times and blogger for Wired
    • Eran Egozy, Co-creator of Guitar Hero and Rock Band; MIT Professor of the Practice in Music Technology
    • Seth Mnookin, Author of The Panic Virus; MIT Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in Science Writing
    • Agustín Rayo, Dean of MIT SHASS and Professor of Philosophy; Author of On the Brink of Paradox
    • Adam Berinsky, Author of Silent Voices: Public Opinion and Political Participation in America; Director of the MIT Political Experiments Research Lab
    • Sara Brown, Lead for the Unbound Mural Project; MIT Professor in Theater Arts
    • Caspar Hare, MIT Professor of Philosophy and Associate Dean of the College of Computing and Co-Director of the Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing Initiative
    • Martin Beraja, MIT Professor of Economics with expertise in new technologies and the role of governments
