Prabha is co-chair of communications for the MITCNC, responsible for the latest redesign of the Beaver Bulletin newsletter. Learn more about Prabha and come meet her at the the Annual Meeting in August!

Why did you decide to volunteer with the MITCNC?

We have the highest engagement of any club in the country, and I wanted to be a part of that energy. MITCNC does amazing things – we give back to the community and inspire each other. It’s a great organization to be a part of.

Tell us a bit about your role with the MITCNC. What are your responsibilities in this position?

I’ve been leading the redesign, creation, and publication of our weekly newsletter, The Beaver Bulletin. Following a massive design change, we’ve seen increased readership and engagement. It’s been so fulfilling!

What exciting things can we expect to see from your area of focus in the coming months? (e.g., social events, speakers, etc.)

Comms has its finger on the pulse of all things MITCNC, so if you want to know something about the club, we’re the ones to ask! Events, club announcements… we’ve got the gossip.

Describe one of your most memorable MIT moments.

The highlight of MIT for me was meeting my husband, Amar Kendale, during my first weeks as a freshman. Our first date was at Kendall Cinema; I’ve still got the ticket stubs!
