What’s the difference between vaping and ‘juuling’? Not sure how to talk about cannabis/marijuana use with your teen now that it is legal? Want to learn the latest about birth control, menstruation, and teen health? If you’re wondering about these topics, then join us in a panel discussion on the science and sociology behind the practices that affect teen health: from tobacco, vaping, marijuana and alcohol, to birth control and periods. Each of the panelists will share evidence on the effect of each of these practices on the developing adolescent brain and how it differs from the impact on adults. Finally, they will discuss how they’ve responded to these issues in clinical, organizational, academic settings, as well as in personal parenting.
The event is open to everyone and we encourage you to bring your curious teenagers.
