The MIT Sloan Club of Northern California serves to promote social and professional networking opportunities amongst graduates of MIT Sloan. There are two premier events for the MIT Sloan Club each year. In January, we host a cocktail reception at the Menlo Park Circus Club when alumni greet current MIT Sloan students traveling in the Silicon Valley for their IAP treks. In July, the MIT Sloan Club hosts a Dean's reception in the peninsula. In 2009 we plan on hosting additional professional networking events between MIT and other MBA programs in the Bay Area. Current Sloanies in the Bay Area should join our Facebook Group, Bay Area Sloanies. We use this to communicate social news and other information. Alums, current or propsective students, feel free to contact us if you have ideas for events or questions about our group.
