Association of MIT Alumnae of Northern California

AMITA-NorCal Mission Statement

To create opportunities for networking, career development, and personal growth for the MIT alumnae of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are affiliated with AMITA, an organization founded in 1899 to promote and serve the needs of MIT women, and operate under the MITCNC non-profit organization.

AMITA-NorCal Chapter Goals

The Northern California chapter of AMITA was formed in 2006 to meet the unique needs of MIT women in the Bay Area. Our goals are to create opportunities for networking, career development and personal growth for women in various stages of their careers and lives. Based on feedback from the community, we are organizing events that cover a variety of topics, including professional skill development, career growth, work-life balance, networking and fun social activities. AMITA-NorCal is a volunteer organization; so if you want to organize an event or help out in any way, please contact the appropriate people on our steering committee.
